YOUR INFORMATION

Privacy notice.

Last updated: 29 October 2026.

Who we are

Mike Turnham trading as no bother is responsible for the personal information described in this notice. Contact hello@nobother.uk with privacy questions or requests.

This notice covers visiting nobother.uk and contacting us by email or the enquiry form. The separate telephone demonstration and any future customer service need their own information about call handling; this website’s cookie choice does not control telephone calls. Please use made-up details for demonstration calls.

Visiting the website

Cloudflare provides hosting and security. Your browser sends technical information, including your IP address and requested pages, to deliver the site and help prevent abuse. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure, reliable website. Google Fonts supplies the typefaces and receives your IP address and technical request information when fonts load.

We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand page-load performance and overall site usage. A browser script sends performance measurements to Cloudflare. This is separate from optional Google Analytics and is not switched off by our Google Analytics choice. Cloudflare says the performance service does not use analytics cookies or browser storage, and does not track individual visitors across websites. Read Cloudflare’s explanation.

Optional Google Analytics

With your consent, Google Analytics helps us understand visits, referring websites, pages viewed, phone-link and website-demo clicks, and successful enquiry submissions (without form contents) so we can improve the site. It uses cookie identifiers and basic browser and device information. Google receives your IP address as part of the connection. We do not use Google Signals, advertising personalisation or send enquiry contents and phone numbers to Analytics.

Analytics stays off until you accept. Rejecting does not affect use of the website. You can withdraw consent using “Cookie settings” at the bottom of any page. Withdrawal stops future collection; it does not make earlier consented processing unlawful or automatically delete data already collected. Read our cookie information and how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

When you contact us

We use your email address, name and the information you choose to send to respond to your enquiry. The enquiry form collects your name, business or trade, email address, optional phone number and message. Cloudflare processes submissions and uses your IP address to limit abusive requests. Make passes the enquiry to our Google Workspace mailbox. We do not add you to a marketing list when you enquire. Google Workspace provides our email service. Depending on your request, our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering a contract, or our legitimate interest in responding to business correspondence. Please avoid sending sensitive information we do not need.

How long information is kept

We configure Analytics user and event data retention to two months, with the reset-on-return setting off. Aggregated standard reports can remain available beyond that period. Our analytics cookies and your consent preference last up to 180 days. Provider security and operational records follow the relevant provider’s retention arrangements.

We keep correspondence for as long as needed to answer your enquiry, manage any resulting work and deal with related questions or disputes. Where a record must be retained to meet a legal obligation, we keep it for that purpose. You can ask us about the retention that applies to your information.

Service providers and international processing

Cloudflare, Make and Google process information to provide the services described above. Their services operate internationally, so processing may take place outside the UK. Their data-processing terms describe applicable transfer safeguards, including contractual protections. You can request further information from us and read Cloudflare’s data-processing terms, Google’s Analytics data-processing terms and Google Workspace’s data-processing terms.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access, correct or erase your personal information, restrict its use, object to processing based on legitimate interests, or receive a portable copy. You can also withdraw consent where we rely on it. Email us to make a request. We do not use this website’s data to make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on you.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, please contact us. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office, the UK data protection regulator.
